Cindy is a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario with more than 20 years of experience working to improve outcomes for youth, families and communities. With a Ph.D. in Education, M.A. in Counselling Psychology and M.A. in Buddhist Studies, she infuses the therapeutic process with principles and practices of mindfulness, acceptance, and a commitment to change. She helps people understand why things are the way they are, accept and tolerate the way things are, and then learn how to make things different by doing things differently, with insight and intention. She is trained in a variety of approaches, ACT, NT, DBT, EFT, (MB)CBT, CPT, and draws from the therapy alphabet with expert eclecticism. She has a particular interest in working with LGBT2SQ+ youth and with families in transition. Cindy's services are virtual at this time.
