Brandy Nie
Brandy is passionate about supporting children, youth and adults as they navigate life's challenges and discover their strengths. Brandy is a Social Worker with roots in Child and Youth Work and is completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, she is joining our practice as an intern therapist offering no fee to low fee therapy. Brandy brings both professional knowledge and practical experience to her work. Much of Brandy's work has been focused on schools, community-based services, experiences in working with military families, individuals impacted by intimate partner violence (IPV), and those navigating stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional well-being. Brandy strives to create a compassionate, collaborative, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their growth. Her approach is client-centred and draws from evidence-based modalities, including CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based practices, and play therapy-informed interventions. Brandy tailors therapy to each individual's unique strengths, needs, and goals, helping clients build resilience, self-awareness, and coping strategies, and create meaningful change.
